When Magneto suddenly appeared at the birth of Quicksilver and Crystal's daughter, Luna Maximoff, the villain revealed himself to be Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch's father. With the revelation affecting his temper and relationship with others, Quicksilver soon fell into villainy when the people he trusted encouraged him to forgive his wife's adultery.

5. BACK TO HEROISM
Before another eventual fall and tragedy, Quicksilver first proved again why he deserved the title of hero, with years of iconic and complex storylines showing the good and the bad in him, along with finally giving him the opportunity of going back to his X roots.

6. HOUSE OF M AND SON OF M
Tragedy striked again when the Scarlet Witch attacked and killed several Avengers after a mental breakdown. Knowing fellow heroes wanted to kill his sister, Quicksilver took various desperate decisions in attempts to keep her safe. The following issues show Quicksilver as he makes serious mistakes, tries to fix them and is faced with the consequences of his own actions.

Quicksilver is once again forced to confront the consequences of his mistakes, evolving as a person and connecting with important members of his family.
